How to flash any Samsung Galaxy device with custom ROM via ODIN from PC.

ODIN tool is for all Samsung devices. You will need ODIN tool as well as a custom ROM which you are planning to flash to you device in your computer. Please see below for instructions on how to flash a custom ROM to your device via ODIN tool.

A. Download ODIN tools from THIS LINK.Not working??? click THIS LINK.

B. Download the custom ROM from HERE. This is the ROM for Samsung Galaxy S Advance. You can download ROM's for any device from XDA Developers site

How to setup ODIN:

1. Install the Samsung USB driver OR Install KIES.

2. Extract custom ROM to a folder on your desktop.

3. Extract the ODIN zip file and run Odin.exe as administrator. (Right click and select “Run as administrator”)

4. When Odin is setup, Power off the phone and press home button + power button + volume down button simutaniously.Now press volume up button confirm and put the phone in download mode.

5. Connect the phone in download mode to pc with a data cable. After that the field under the “ID:COM” in ODIN tool will turn blue and show your connection ID. This means that your device is detected and is ready for flashing.

6. In the ODIN tool, click on checkbox of “PDA” .Then click “PDA” button and browse the custom ROM that you have extracted to desktop.

7. Click “Start” and DO NOT disconnect the device until Odin shows ‘ PASS ‘.

8. After that again go to recovery mode (press home button + power button + volume down button simultaneously) and do a factory/data reset.

9. Reboot the device...

You HAVE SUCCESSFULLY FLASHED YOUR PHONE!!!!!
